MEDDLE WITH US
We are always seeking collaborators skilled in writing, photography, lists, and everything in between! This includes, but is not limited to original narratives about embracing your authentic self, your life lessons learned, personal as well as professional advice.
Original photography can be submitted on its own and will be considered for accompanying articles, lists, etc. featured throughout the website.
Please review our contributor guidelines outlined below before submitting your work or idea.
Original content: We will only accept original content (not previously published anywhere else, including your own site).
Contributing author details: An author picture and bio is required.
Images: We encourage you to submit photos or illustrations with your submissions. Images must be high quality and come with source citations. Only use images for which you have permission or which are in the public domain (be sure to credit your source).
External Links: Two external links are allowed in the post body (one to your website and one to an additional outside source). Promotional links are not allowed. Links will be placed behind anchor text. We reserve the right to review, alter and remove links as needed.
Internal Links: Feel free to link to any relevant posts from The Medley.
Readability: Break up your content, so it’s easy to read. This means including headings, subheadings, lists, bullets, etc. to increase the readability of your piece. Include examples and relevant images to illustrate your point.
Recommended Length: Posts should aim to be 750-2000 words in length.
Edits: The Medley reserves the right to edit contributing author content as needed prior to publishing.
While we welcome stories of all kinds, we want to ensure that all content is consistent with our tone and brand messaging. We likely will not select content that:
*Has been shared or published elsewhere.
*Includes promotional or affiliate links.
*Is judgmental and may make readers feel attacked.
*Aims to divide instead of connecting and unifying people.
Of course! We strongly advise you to share your post through your personal network along with any blog sites you may run or own! When sharing on social media, be sure to tag @thankthemedley!
Post requests are not guaranteed. We will do our best to respond quickly. Our creative team reviews submissions in the order received. We unfortunately cannot respond to all requests. If we decide to pursue your idea, we’ll let you know.
